Egress was the Florida International University Masters of Fine Arts Program thesis exhibition in December of 2014. Works featured by Andrew C Horton, Nick Gilmore, Joe Locke, and Gardner Cole Miller.

Three interventions in the space bury themselves further into the structures and conventions that house them rather than presenting objects that speak of authorship, the work and its intentions. It is through a series of camouflaged interventions that the space is modified into situations that alternate between active and dormant through interactions with the viewer. They are only made aware of these interventions by deviations from known conditions or norms of the space. All interventions made in the gallery are direct responses to conditions of the space: established institutional rules of the space plus the other participants become boundaries to navigate around. Each condition that confronts the artist, affords and opportunity for the artwork to side-step or graze.
